Fair Trade Yoga Bag by WSDO - Green Pattern

This beautiful Yoga Bag is made by the women of WSDO, Woman's Skills Development Organization in Pokhara.  The yoga bag is completely hand-woven from cotton, in a mixed green check-pattern. A spacious yoga bag that also fits a larger yoga mat, closes at the top with strings. The adjustable carrying straps offer the possibility to carry this bag both over the shoulder, as well as a "backpack". There is an extra pocket on the front which closes with Velcro.

WSDO is a Fair Trade organization that now employs nearly 600 women. First they are trained in the different techniques around the dyeing, spinning and weaving of the "loom". After this training, they have more freedom to work at home, so that they can decide themselves how they combine work with the family life at home. Read more about WSDO.
